Not a particularly inspired app--this one came out pretty much at the launch of the App Store in 2008 and it shows. The original version wasnt very sophisticated and while this one (v1.8.1) is better, it isnt so by much.

True, it isnt supposed to be much, but lets face it--tapping on a touch screen just isnt quite as satisfying as squeezing real bubble wrap between your fingers. The timer and stat tracking helps it a little and moves this app from a novelty launch item into the category of casual time-wasting game.

Overall, since its free, theres no reason not to check it out for yourself and see if this will help curb your appetite for popping bubble wrap when theres none around to be had, or if it will help your wait in line to get your cars license plate renewed. Thems my thoughts.
