How the "beep" did I get this app?

So this apparently used to be "virtual bubblewrap" at some point it got updated to "candy bubble wrap" and now its called "cookie & candy pop". I was beginning to think that I got hit by more "app where" again considering that my favorite browser mercury is still on the App Store infected with adware and site redirection. ever since then Ive been very skeptical about any major overhauling of an app update.
I for one will be taking it off my phone and pulling down an archived copy of an old version.
